Intellectual Property (IP) refers to the creative content and ideas that make up a film, such as its script, characters, story, music, etc. The IP Rights protect these elements and give control over their use, reproduction, and distribution. The IP is often a valuable asset for future revenue for e.g. when it comes to a remake, prequel or sequel of a film.
