YENTI-GYAI: TALES FROM THE BLUE BUS
BY RANSFORD NII AYI ARYEE

YENTI-GYAI: TALES FROM THE BLUE BUS is an anthology of short stories set in Ghana cataloguing the misadventures of seven ill-fated strangers from different walks of life travelling on an old blue bus that has fallen under the curse of a vengeful infant deity.
These strangers and the Baby go through very internal struggles in their stand-alone episodes as they buckle under the weight of the world pressing down on their shoulders. These struggles are only intensified by the fact that these characters are fleeing from their moral, ethical, and personal responsibilities.
The miniseries was written and developed by the Freshcraft Collective – a team of fifteen student filmmakers from Ghana, East Africa and Germany – under the guidance, facilitation, and collaboration of three institutions: Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin – DFFB (Germany), National Film and Television Institute – NAFTI (Ghana), and Maisha Film Lab (East Africa)
