0 0 Read Time:48 Second DIRECTORS VENTURE INTO THE WORLD OF SERIES SERIESMAKERS is a creative initiative, launched by Series Mania Forum & BETA Group, aimed at feature film directors venturing into the world of series. SERIESMAKERS will select ten teams with a scripted TV series idea to participate in a bespoke training program focused on developing a pitch deck. Experienced mentors and leading directors, showrunners, writers and producers will guide creators of new series during online workshops. At the end of the program, a jury will reward two teams with a prize of €50,000 (fifty thousand euros) each to develop a pilot scenario and a bible with additional creative support.Also, a €20,000 prize for emerging talent, introduced by the Kirch Foundation, will be added to the two BETA prizes. The winning teams will be presented at the Series Mania Forum 2024 and will have the opportunity to participate in the Series Mania Forum 2025 to pitch their projects.
